Meet Josh
Hi there, I'm Josh Kantner, the sole creator of JK Mathematics.Ā Thanks for stopping by!
Not long ago I was also a student taking various math courses. In May of 2021, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Messiah University.
But just because I studied math doesn't mean every math class I took was easy for me. Many of the classes were challenging and not every instructor's teaching style resonated with me.
A lot of the success I found in my courses did not come from inside the classroom. Instead it came fromĀ self-teaching and finding my own ways to make sense of difficult math concepts - all in my own personal time outside the classroom.
And I would love to share my knowledge and experiences with you, so that you too can find success in your math courses!
Have you ever asked yourself:
- "I am not good at math. Is it really possible for me to understand higher level math like calculus?"
- "I have fallen behind in my math classes and do not understand anything, how can I quickly make up for lost time?"
- "My school lectures are long and boring, is there a better way to learn math that is concise and engaging?"
- "I am not learning anything from my teacher / professor. Where else could I go to get extra help in my classes?"
If so, then you've come to the right place!
Whether you've just started taking a new math course and are looking for extra resources, or you are in the middle of a course but are struggling and need some guidance, I can help you.
Each of my free tutorial videos for each math course are designed to help students understand the concepts of their math classes at a grounded level. No long, boring, and unnecessary explanations, just what you need to know at a reasonable and digestible pace. Not to mention that each video is aimed to accomplish this in less than 40 minutes, or the average length of a high school or college lecture! (For many videos, less than 30 minutes!)
It is the perfect way to learn math quickly, but still effectively.
Not a student? No problem! The resources at JK Mathematics can also be helpful to:
- Teachers / Professors
- Parents of Homeschoolers
- Tutors / Assistant Teachers
A combination of using my tutorial videos and their accompanying worksheets have the ability to be great:
- Focused studying material
- Preparation / Review for quizzes and exams
- Summer assignments
- Extra credit assignments
No matter who you are, or what your goals are, I believe my resources can help you accomplish those goals in no time!
But don't just take my word for it...
