Hi there! I'm Josh, the creator of JK Math and all of its content!
I am the "me" you would be booking time with! I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics.
Now, having a degree in math is nice and all, but having a degree in a subject doesn't always translate to actually being able to teach that subject. At the end of the day, when you need help with a subject, you don't necessarily care about degrees...
What you care about is results!
During my time in college I found myself frequently helping my peers understand different concepts, at their request, for various math courses (from algebra to advanced calculus!). They would tell me frequently that I had the gift of teaching.
Additionally, while at college I gained experience with 1-on-1 tutoring while being a teacher's assistant for a statistics course.
On top of all that, I have helped thousands of students learn concepts in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, and Financial Mathematics through my tutorial videos on Youtube at JK Math that you might already be aware of (You may even be one of those students!)
