How Would You Solve This Improper Integral?

Hi there!

I have a new Calculus 2 video to share with you today where we work through solving a tricky improper integral that will require the use of integration by parts and L'Hopital's rule.

Specifically, here are the highlights of what you will learn in this video:

1. Why an integral may be an improper integral
2. How to rewrite an improper integral using a limit so that you can solve it (determine convergence)
3. How to integrate ln(x) using integration by parts

If you are currently in the midst of taking Calculus 2 then this integral should be a good test of your skills!

I'd recommend trying the problem for yourself first before seeing how I solve it. See if you can determine how and when integration by parts and L'Hopital's rule should be used to help solve this improper integral!
