FM Unit 1 Review: Interest Rate Measurement

Jun 14, 2024

 Hi there!

Today I have released my first unit review video for my Financial Mathematics series on Youtube! In this video I help you review the concepts from the first unit, interest rate measurement, that I covered throughout lessons 1-10 of my FM series.

Specifically, here is what's covered in the review video:

  1. Reviewing the formulas for interest rate measurement
  2. 6 Review Problems solved in full

As a reminder, the first 10 lessons of my FM series cover the concepts of (1) compound interest, (2) basic cash flows, (3) average annual rate of return, (4) annual effective rate, (5) simple interest, (6) present value & the equation of value, (7) nominal rates of interest, (8) discount rates, (9) force of interest, and (10) converting interest rates.

So, if you are looking to review these concepts for your next exam, then this video is for you!

I am currently working on unit review videos for the other units of FM as well as a final exam review video. So, there is a lot to look forward to if you are studying Financial Mathematics!

Until next time,

-Josh
